Choosing the Best Eye Serum

Not only being the focal point of your face, your eyes also are the part of your body that ages the fastest. Technically, the under-eye area ages the fastest. As the skin around your eyes ages, it loses it's thickness. For this reason, you need to find a solid under-eye application.

Most people start looking for answers for the under-eye area as they see eye wrinkles form. Eye wrinkles are not a pleasant sight and can certainly make the face look older and the eyes seem tired. Here are some tips on how you can decide on what eye serum you should use as you find yourself experiencing aging symptoms.

1. Once you find an eye care product that works, stick with it.

If the symptoms you are trying to fight start subsiding once you apply an eye serum, chances are it is working. If the dark circles have lessened, odds are the serum is working the skin in that area.

Of course, there are steps you must follow to get to this point. And how do you know what eye serum to buy right from the get-go? Here are a few things you can do in your research before buying.

2. Look for Reviews

Visit some websites that talk about reviewing eye serums. Normally you can read consumer reviews before buying. What are people saying? Are they happy with the product? If so, you can take that as a good start.

if the website shows photos, take a look at them. Compare before and after photos to see if a difference in the eye area is shown.

3. Ingredients

You should know what ingredients work well in anti-aging products. Common ingredients include hyaluronic acid, gaba, resvertatrol, and retinol. These area all great ingredients found in most eye serums that work.

Of course, you want to find a product with antioxidant properties. If the serum doesn't contain these properties, it's best you find antioxidants in other areas of your diet or take an anti-aging capsule that has antioxidant properties.

4. Where is it made?

I refuse to buy an eye serum made outside of the USA. I look for a plant that manufactures the eye serum with accordance to the FDA and State Health Board regulations. Anyone who makes these outside of the USA does NOT have to adhere to these policies, and therefore could sell you a contaminated eye serum.

Did you know that if one tiny fraction or sliver of bacteria enters the formula, it is ruined? Be sure to check out the manufacturer behind the eye serum you make. If they are shy in giving up certifications, you can cross that company off your list.

So now that you are armed with the proper information to find the best eye serum out there, go ahead, do your research and get cracking. The eyes are meant to be cared for, so use the best products possible and do them a favor.
