Today an increasing number of the public work with a Visual Display Unit or VDU. Laptops, Personal computers and workstation screens in the office environment. The numbers of hours we spend sitting in front of computer is increasing all the time, be it a project for work, reading emails or data entry.

We live in modern times, where the computer viewing has become a necessity on our lives. In today's work environment is can become difficult to get the rest breaks your eyes need on a computer.

Most VDU users know the guidelines for workstation set up in terms of seating height and distance to screen. However may not have the knowledge about the affects of poor blinking frequency and not taking eye rest breaks.

Whilst sat in the seated position still at your workstation turn your head away from your screen. Look at distant objects either at the far end of the office or outside of a window.

Eat healthy fresh citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli. The anti-oxidant properties help maintain the eye health and function.
